PETG is a more durable, higher-strength solution than PLA. Able to withstand high stress and higher temperatures, with moderate flexibility. PETG is a better solution for outdoor use than PLA but we still recommend ABS for outdoor use.
Due to the nature of PETG, it allows for translucent colors which bring a completely new aspect to your prints.
PETG also allows for easier color matching for multi-spool jobs and manufacturing.
PETG Printing Requirements

- PTEG is hygroscopic and is much more affected by humidity. Drying may be required for consistent prints.
- Heated Bed Temperature: 75-90 °C
- Enclosure to control ambient temperatures
- Extruder Temps: 230-250 °C
- Retraction calibration require to mitigate stringing
